Biography of Prudy Taylor Board

AKA:

Prudence Foster

Prudy Taylor Board is an award-winning author/editor. She has had more than 1,000 articles published in newspapers and magazines, authored seven novels and fifteen nonfiction books. She's been a reporter/feature writer and has edited newspapers, magazines and newsletters and worked as assignment editor and beat reporter covering police and the courts for WINK-TV (CBS) and WBBH-TV (NBC). She even did a stint as public information officer for the Lee County (FL) Sheriff’s department; so she's seen both law enforcement and the judicial system from both sides.      

A native of Florida, Prudy loves her home state and her nonfiction books have explored different areas and attractions throughout the state. She's also written about travel in Florida and the Caribbean. Her novels are set in Florida. In her journalism career, she has interviewed murderers, politicians, first Ladies and CEOs, all of which she considers grist for her novels
